3. What skills, attributes or knowledge are important to consider when reflecting on your own cultural competence?
4. Suggest at least three ways you could develop your own cultural competence. Reference your suggestions to Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia, to show how your ideas link to he Practises recommended by the framework.
6. List 5 practises that could be included in a policy in an early education setting that would support individual cultural identities and ensure ‘cultural safety’ for everyone involved in the service.
I have these so far - Be aware of the different cultures that could come into our service.
